Refund and Cancellation Policy

It sits alongside our Terms of Service on our policies hub.

In short

• Cancel any time with 14 days’ notice. You pay only for visits completed, and a prepaid season is refunded for the unused part.
• Booked more than 30 days before your service starts? Cancel up to 24 hours before it starts for a full refund.
• Plans come with Ontario’s 10-day cooling-off right, on top of both.

Booking early

Book more than 30 days before your service starts (for a Winter Plan, the day the season starts) and you can cancel for a full refund until 24 hours before that start. After that, or if you booked within 30 days of the start, the 14 days’ notice below applies.

14 days’ notice, any time

Cancel any time with 14 days’ notice. You pay only for visits completed, and the unused part of a prepaid season, including a Winter Plan paid in one go, is refunded.

Year-Round plans are billed as 12 monthly payments instead. Once your 14 days’ notice runs out, billing stops; payments already made are not refunded.

The 10-day cooling-off right for plans (Ontario law)

A season or year-round plan is a continuing service, so Ontario’s Consumer Protection Act, 2002 lets you cancel it for any reason within 10 days of the later of the day you receive your written copy of the agreement and the day the service starts being available to you. This right is in addition to our own policy above, not instead of it.

How to cancel

Call or text 226-336-2077, email info@kwlawnmowing.com, or use the contact page. We confirm every cancellation back to you in writing, so there’s a record for both of us. There’s no online account or self-serve cancel page: it always goes through a real person.

This policy replaces any older cancellation wording, including for plans bought under our old “Season Package” name.
